Sound Drivers


I am running Knoppix and cannot figure out how to put in a sound peripheral. I have sound on my motherboard and Knoppix detects it, but it comes up with several errors. I don't know why this is. Could someone assist me?

Here's the modprobe for what my drivers should bemodprobe via82cxxx_audio

*bump* I'm not going to use Linux if I can't this fixed...but I really like Knoppix...
