Sound Diver?

Need some advice, Can't get sound in etch,
Tried running alsaconf, But found that my sound card is not recognized by alsa at this time.
Tried legacy drivers, But no success, Looked at my lspci and found that the "Audio device
nVidia Corp MCP 61 HDA" Now how do I load it in? nVidia web site don't list this driver.
This is an onboard audio.

What system are you using? What does "cat /proc/asound/version" and "cat /proc/asound/cards" return? Is there a /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 file and what does it have at the top for a Vendor ID and Codec?

It's possible that your system is supported or being worked on, but the drivers haven't made it to debian yet.
