Sound Card for Fedora

I have dual sound card, one on the PCI slot, Sound Blaster Live LS, and the other is built onto the mother board, Intel i810. I want to use the SB Live LS however, my OS is just referring me to the intel one. This card worked on my other computer, so i do not believe the os is missing the driver. Also, no sounds come from the intel.

PLEASE HELP ME!

I am using Fedora Core 1.

If you have both onboard sound and a sound card installed, that can lead to conflicts. Given that you want to use the sound card, I suggest that you get into BIOS and disable the onboard sound. Hopefully that should do it. (Based on your description, I do not think this is either a driver or a Fedora issue.) Good luck with it and Welcome to LQ -- J.W.
