sound card


my question is really about a usb headset. im not getting any helpful answers to solve how to get the sound to go through the headset instead of my normal speakers. i was wondering if there was a way to possibly change something with the soundcard and make the primary my headset. if it helps to know i use pclinuxos. plz help!!!

You should be able to select that in whatever mixer your distribution comes with, or in the worst case tell all the applications using ALSA to use the other device.

Is there a specific error or problem you are having?
