Samsung Galaxy Book 12 - no output from speakers - volume control 'sees' the sound.
To all intents and purposes when checking the PulseAudio volume control, all appears fine, except no sound heard.
xubuntu 17.01, Xfce
Can I get assistance please?

make sure it is not muted for starters. via alsamixer, then pavucontrol, then by your WindowManager too if applicable.

However, due to the number of facilities which it seemed impossible to achieve in Linux I decided to stop.
I will return the computer and may continue later in the year.
Thanks for your interest.
