S3 Savage 4+ 3D Accelation

I just got another PC , It has an S3 Savage 4 video card. I installed SuSe 9.1 on it. But the SuSe driver doesn't supports acceleration. I downloaded another driver , but it didnt work. Does anyone know where I can get an S3 Savage 4 driver that works with acceleration and SuSe? Thanks in advance!

Mr.Xanni

P.S. does anyone know how to change to windows style (double click = open / start) in SuSe?

Suggestion,...

Get (cheaply) an nVidia based card.

S3 Savage 4 is out of date (hopelessly so) and your only real solution is to look to the open source drivers.

There is a Savage branch of the DRI Open Source Project. It works with most savage4-based (savage4/prosavage/twister/supersavage) chips and the older savage3d-based chips (3D/MX/IX).

I wrote a HOWTO.
