root=/dev/sda7

am new in linux and i saw that in book so is the Q and The Answer right ?

When you see the root=/dev/sda7 command in either GRUB or LILO, what does it mean?
A. The root directory, /, is located on the third logical partition of the first SCSI hard
disk.
B. The /root directory is located on the third logical partition of the first SCSI hard
disk.
C. If it's GRUB, this represents the root directory, /. If it's LILO, this represents the
/root directory. In either case, it is located on the third logical partition of the first
SCSI hard disk.
D. It is an error in either boot loader.

4. A. In both LILO and GRUB, the root=/dev/sda7 command indicates that the root directory, /,
is located on the third logical partition of the first SCSI hard disk.
ý B, C, and D are not correct. In either boot loader, root represents the top-level / directory, not
the home directory of the root user (/root). It is not an error in either boot loader.
