Radeon RX 640 not used

Hello! I just got a new Acer Aspire 5 and it seems that, although the AMDGPU driver is installed, the system does recognize my graphics card, it can't use it.

The card is a Radeon RX 640, here is lspci:
Code:

Which is the graphics of the Ryzen chip.

xrandr can't see anything:
Code:
[root@alex amdgpu-fan]# xrandr --listproviders
Providers: number : 0
But inxi can:

Code:
[root@alex amdgpu-fan]# inxi -G

Radeontop sees it, but calls it unknown (see screenshot).

Finally, here are some startup errors I thought might give info.

Any ideas?

The radeon device (dGPU) is shown by both inxi (Device-1) and lspci (01:00.0).
What drivers are loaded? (inxi says amdgpu for both GPUs)
inxi -Gxx would give more info.

One (the IGP) is called Lucienne and the other (the dGPU) is called Lexa.
How are you determining that the dGPU is never being used? since they use the same driver.
What are you seeing and how are you testing?
What do you expect to see?

Ah, sorry, I assumed it didn't work because debian told me the driver for my graphics card was not installed, then lspci didn't list it as a VGA device, xrandr didn't list it at all, amdgpu-fan did't work and radeontop didn't kno what it was and had the graphics pipe output at 0 when I first looked at it. Apparently it just wasn't stressed. It does do something if it is stressed. I'm still not sure about the lspci and xrandr output, but I took those from the Debian debugging instructions. Is this even a bug then? anyway, here is the output from inxi -Gxx:

Code:
[root@alex alex]# inxi -Gxx

Odds are good you need a BIOS adjustment or upgrade. By default most BIOS will prefer the add-in GPU to the IGP automatically. Yours might be different, or broken.

If you wish maximum information from inxi, install xdpyinfo, use -Ga instead of -Gxx, and upgrade inxi to the upstream version if your distro hasn't done that already. Most Debians and derivatives and several other distros are still shipping graphics-broken old inxi versions. Inxi has an upgrade switch -U, which many distros disable, but users can reenable.

I've upgraded the bios, but nothing seems to have changed. Here is the output of inxi -Ga:

The first two inxi outputs made no mention of Wayland, which the third does. I suggest to try sticking to Xorg only until you know it can work as expected, before trying again with Wayland. You should be able to select Xorg via menu in your login greeter. I'm not sure this should make a difference immediately. Device-2 information from inxi seems may be incomplete compared to Device-1. If it doesn't help to switch to Xorg, I'd ask the AMD driver developers what's going wrong via mailing list.
