question on buying a hd2400

hello,
i'm looking for a new video card and i've found a sapphire hd2400pro agp8x at a very good price (the same as a nvidia 7300, and the hd2400 is much better)
but i'm not sure if it will work well under linux: especially under fedora8, and i'm also interested in games with wine and native opengl, and in compiz fusion
so if someone has this card, i'd appreciate if he can tell me how it works and with what driver

Did you search the forums for other people with similar questions or even use google and type in in quotes "linux Compatible AGP 8x video cards. I n the feature please either comb google or use the serch feature or here on the Linux Questions forums or the forums related to tyour ditro of choice.

yes, everybody's able to search around

but you'll agree that if someone has no problem with his card, he won't open a thread to tell "i have hd2400 and everything's ok", don't you think?
