Buying a new pc

Hi,
Since my laptop cant handle all my downloading, I'm getting some new hardware, if theres any compatibility issues with linux or anything else i should know, i think it would be better to find out now. The hardware is:

CPU: Intel Cel 2.4GHz
Graphics: Sparkle GeForce4 MX 4000 64MB NoFan
RAM: 256MB PC2100
CD-ROM: Benq 52x IDE Svart Bulk
M/B: Albatron PX865PE Pro II
Hd: 40 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7
Hd2: 120 GB, 8MB, Seagate Barracuda 7200.7

Now I'm not specifying exactly which distro ill use, 'cos i don't know,
but I'm guessing it will be either, mandrake/Fedora/SUSE or vectorlinux since Ive got these downloaded.

The biggest concern is probably the graphics card,
why cant all drivers be free?
We pay for the hardware !.

Look in the HCL for compatability for your stuff.
