Before installing a new operating system it is recommended to consult the Linux Hardware Compatibility List (HCL), to find out if your hardware is supported by Linux. That prevents disappointments after the hard work of installing.

For specific drivers you can always visit the manufacturer's website for information.
In one occasion I mailed to a manufacturer's support dept. for information about Linux drivers, and they helped me by supplying an address where I could download the desired drivers.

There are Linux drivers for a wide variety of hardware but in many occasions you have to search for them. And some products simply do not have them available.

And last but not least: Google is your best friend...

You might try some Live CD Linux distros and see if any particular distro has drivers that work on your machine. Delve into the distros that work and then download the driver for your Red Hat. Believe or not, Puppy Linux has got a lot of drivers and they are easy to identify.
Good Luck, MIchael
