Printer prints only the first page

I have a minolta 1300w page pro. The problem is that it prints only the first page then stops and goes offline!
I use Kubuntu with 2.6.10-5-386 and have a 2500+,1G mem,9600 pro ati,nforce2 chipset.
Minolta is connected with USB to my PC
I had the same problem using madrake 10.1

PS the printer works fine in windowsXP .

Make sure the "all" selection in your print popup window is checked

All it checked....
The problem is that after the 1st page the printer goes offline!
