Possible Bad PSU? Need Some Input!
I recently installed a Water Cooling setup in my computer. When I leak tested it, it leaked. Some of my components got wet.
The only items in my case were the motherboard, cpu, video card & psu.
I let everything dry out for a few days.
I tested the video card on a different computer and it works fine.
As for the cpu & motherboard, I connected them to my PSU, plugged it in and turned it on.
My case power light stayed on, but nothing happened. I didn't even get a beep code.
I assumed it was a bad board. I replaced it & put it in only to get the same results.
I ordered a new cpu, put it in with the new motherboard. Same thing happens.
The only thing I can think of now is a bad PSU.
When I power the computer on, the PSU fans will spin for a few seconds & then die. The same happens with the case fans I hooked up to it. The power light on the case & on the motherboard both stay on.
If anyone else thinks it is the Power Supply or can think of anything else I should look into please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Billspork
