I bought a used Pixelview TVCard, installed it to my computer, and loaded the module
Code:
sudo modprobe bt878
Then I opened KDETV, it said: Unable to grab video.
Video display is not possible with the current plugin configuration. Try playing with the configuration options of the V4L2 plugin. Then I opened TVtime and nothing happaned. I opened it into console and it said: xvoutput: No XVIDEO port found which supports YUY2 images.
*** tvtime requires hardware YUY2 overlay support from your video card
*** driver. If you are using an older NVIDIA card (TNT2), then
*** this capability is only available with their binary drivers.
*** For some ATI cards, this feature may be found in the experimental
*** GATOS drivers:
*** If unsure, please check with your distribution to see if your
*** X driver supports hardware overlay surfaces.
My VGA card is integrated in MSI Motherboard. Then I unload the module, and loaded the bttv module. Then I opened Zapping, no picture. I opened the xawtv, and I plugged the S-Video, that worked a little. The Picture flicks and its black-white. The S-Video cable is plugged first in TV-card and then in My Nokia Mediamaster. Sorry my English, I´m Finnish.
