Nvidia HDA Soundcard

No matter what I try I can't get the mic/line inputs to work. Is this a common problem with this type?

Hi, I managed to get the input from the mic to play (just pass through the card directly into speakers). Then I somehow managed to make everything my card plays into a software input, which worked and I was able to use my mic with Twinkle (with the other side hearing every sound my PC produced :-D ) So I'd say yes, its a problem...
