Question No sound output from Debian (Lenny) though everything looks fine.


Im running Debian Lenny on an Acer 6920g laptop.

The only part that looks strange is the dmesg output... other than that I get no error messages, I've tried playing a couple of mp3 using vlc and they would play without any error, just that I don't get any sound. I've check all the master controls and mute options and those seem to be fine, I have no idea where to look next.

and it seems to resolve the issue, at least I get
some sound now.
There's also another site that deals with the same
issue for the 8920 Acer model :
