Oh, well, I found some stuff on this at
http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/lo...hp/t12274.html
The above link lets me operate the drive from a desktop icon, although I can't place it as a folder under myComputer.
Strange, though, the results of my dmesg| grep ppa is:
ppa: Version 2.07 (for Linux 2.4.x)
ppa: Found device at ID 6, Attempting to use EPP 32 bit
ppa: Found device at ID 6, Attempting to use PS/2
ppa: Communication established with ID 6 using PS/2
scsi2 : Iomega VPI0 (ppa) interface
The PS/2 part in the entry confuses me. The desktop icon works the zip drive, now, though (KDE Desktop).
Now I have to figure out how to work with the write protection put on the zip disk by windows utilities.
