need a PCMCIA or USB wireless NIC for linux

im looking for a wireless NIC to connect my laptop to my school's wireless network. i want to buy one that has native linux drivers from the manufacturer to show demand for linux compatible hardware, so i'd like to avoid using ndiswrapper if possible. i have PC card slots and USB ports, with no particular preference for either. thanks in advance.

3com officeconnect

I got a bundled router/PCMCIA card deal and the 3com officeconnect cards don't like the Orinoco drivers. I am a newb, though.

any Prism chipset cards are usually a good deal. A lot of vendors use this chipset, I dont have a list of all cards to give you right now, but usually it's quite easy to find (vendors like to say they use this chipset, as it is often known as the best wireless chipset).
Linuxquestion.org HCL could also give you few hints.
