My Printer keeps printing

Hi

I'm using Suse Linux 10.0 as a distro and I have a big problem. I have a Xerox DocuPrint N17 on my network and i'm printing using TCP. First I had problems printing in some applications, but I solved that using the postscript level 2. But still i've got a big problem since the start. When i'm printing a page (or multiple pages), my printer keeps printing the same job.

Please help, cause this is a big problem for me. I can't start feeding my printer with the exact amount of paper he needs...

Are you using cups? Have you looked at your logs for errors?

I use cups but i didn't check the error logs because this doesn't seem to be an error. Linux never gives me an error when printing, it's just my printer that keeps printer.

Well, the point is that the logs will print more than just errors. If you change loglevel to 'debug' in cups.conf then it may give you some idea of what is going on.

Today, i tried some more stuff and guess what. My Xerox DucoPrint N17 works perfect (even duplex module!) with the HP LaserJet 4 Plus postscript driver!!!
