Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Multi I/O on Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1

Hi all,

I've just purchased a Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1 w/Live Drive. I've got it all set up and working with the ALSA drivers but I have another question. I want to be able to have multiple in/out ports. Example, I want to be able to use jackEQ and send the master output to speakers, and the monitor output out to headphones.

I am fairly new to ALSA and I don not know if this is possible?

Thanks,

meeshka
