Module install at boot for LFS-based TSLinux?

Apologies for the rank newbie nature -- I'm just getting into TSLinux, a build based on Linux From Scratch V3.1.

Anyway, I'd like to install a certain module at boot (a USB modem driver at /tmp/ti_usb.lkm), but can't seem to do so by inserting:

/sbin/insmod /tmp/ti_usb.lkm

... in the last line of /etc/rc.d/rcS.sysinit . However, executing that line as soon as I log in as root works just fine for installing the module. How can I set up this module to install automatically at boot?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Have you looked in LFS Boot Scripts on LFS site?
