I've not used fiesty
and don't know the software you used to connect, but in a situation like this, one of the things to check is whether you have a DNS problem. Connect to the Internet, and, in sequence, try these three ping commands:
If the first two commands work and the third one doesn't, then you have a DNS problem. The ping is "successful" if you start getting a series of lines similar to this one:
64 bytes from 18.104.22.168: icmp_seq=0 ttl=54 time=196.315 msec
These will continue until you manually stop the command with a ctrl-C.
