Looking for a better GFX card

I am looking to upgrade my GFX card, GeForce FX 5200. What do you suggest that would best work with my hardware? I am thinking of a GeForce FX 5500.

CPU: AMD Athlon 2000+ @ 1.86 GHz
Memory: 512 MB - 1 Module
Sound: Onboard 6-Channel VIA Chipset
Mobo: MSI Model KM2M
OS: Kubuntu Breezy - Kernel 2.6.12

get a nvidia 6600 GT or 6800 GT, I have both and never have had any probs.
