Linux and Canon Printer Drivers?
Does Mint or Fedora for two examples have drivers for Canon printers? Previously I used an HP and CUPS. Some seem to have success before in these forums with Canon. I just got a second hand Canon. Pixma ip 3500.

Hi...
Yes, you can find the 32 bit drivers here, although it doesn't appear drivers were written for 64 bit. Just click "Linux (32-bit)" under the menu for "Your operating system."
However, if you need 64 bit support, you may be able to use the Gutenprint 5.2.11-pre2 driver mentioned here. You can download the file here. However, keep in mind this driver only offers experimental support. You will need to compile this particular driver and some features may not work or the printer may not work at all.
Regards...

Try the a Generic PCL driver in CUPS. See if works for you.
