Unfortunately Canon do not appear to create Linux drivers for that printer. They do for some of their other printers (e.g. Canon PIXMA iP4200D), but not for your model.

The Turboprint software may support your printer. It doesn't list it as a model on their web site, but they don't list some of the other recent ones they've added.

TurboPrint is proprietary software, and requires a payment. The cost is about 30Euros.
