Unhappy Linux 8.0 sndconfig

Hi,
I installed RH 8 and it didn't detect my soundcard. I had to install sndconfig. After install I went to Terminal the logged to root and ran sndconfig but I got no such file or command. I checked and it has been installed because ir's in the /sbin. What gives? I have a SB 16 soundcard. Thanks

You can try changing to /sbin, then typing './sndconfig' If that works, then you're missing something in your path.
