Hi ppl , I have this problem with my tv card. It's a Leadtek TV2000XP Expert (cx8800 Conexant Chipset) and it don't wanna work in color just in black and white an I can't figure why.
Her is a sample of my modprobe.conf (tv card section):

I use Tvtime , and the sound quality is also very poor . And I have tryied it in windoze and the image and sound was Chrystal clear.
I live in Romania so the TV Standard here is PAL. Can anyone helpme with this problem? TNX

The obvious question is do you have the right PAL region selected - there is more than one of them. Try some of the other PAL choices with tvtime in "Input Configuration" --> "Television Standard"

According to LQ.org's own HCL entry for this card, try the BrookTree driver instead of the one you're currently using:

modprobe bttv
