I have Mandrake 10 (2.4.25) and PCI TV card: Leadtek WinFast 2000 XP Expert and I don't know how to correctly configure it. I've compiled driver from http://bytesex.org/v4l/ - because it's card based on Conexant CX8800 chip. Next I've modified /etc/modules.conf and added these lines:

Unfortunately TV card doesn't work. I can run xawtv but I can't choose any signal source.: tv, composite or s-video. Issuing 'lsmod' command shows that no modules (cx8800 and video 4 linux drivers) aren' being loaded into the memory. I'm trying to load them with 'modprobe cx8800' but it causes only that after .modprobe' modules are shown as loaded. But TV card doesn't work. I know that it works in 2.6.3 kernel which has compiled in 2000 XP Expert support, but I need use this TV card with 2.4.25 kernel for some time. Please share with your experience and give me some help, I've already spent 3 days configuring the card and don't know what else I can do. Help me please!
