Just about any HP will work. I have a LaserJet 1200 connected via USB and it recognized it right away.

It's either 8 or 10. The 1300 is essentially the same thing but faster.

* I was way off *

15 ppm on U.S. letter sheets

14 ppm on A4

< 10 seconds, first page out

the 1300 is 20 ppm

What printer you can recommend with such requirements?

#1 Laser printer for Linux (Red Hat 8)
#2 Two trays
#3 20 pages per minute

I checked and cups does support it.

HP states that the 1300, which does print 20 ppm, has two trays but that is misleading. The second tray is actually a scanner attatchment. So you would need something like above it you wanted to trays to feed from.
