Did you try here? http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/

This page contains some hints on how to identify your chipset as well.

I found some info you might be interested in at this webpage for your AC-97 modem:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ac97-modem

It appears that development for a driver for your modem is only underway. You may want to contact the developers to check on their progress.

Look at this page for a description of your modem:

http://www.modem-help.com/chipsets.php?mid=120&nbd=4483

According to the links, you should be able to use the hsf linuxant driver from the webpage I mentioned in my previous message http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/

However, according to this page http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/index.php , your chipset # PCI ID 8086:24D6 is not supported. You might want to contact the manufacturer (Intel) to see if they can help - they might even have a linux driver for it.

The sourceforge project looks rather stale.

if its not supported, does that mean it wont work, or it isnt just "supported by linuxant?

Well, what you could do is give the hsf driver a try anyways. If is doesn't work, then contact Intel, who might be able to help you out.
