Label of MicroSD memory card

Hi!
After having formatted - fat32 - a MicroSD meory card (Kingston, 2 GB, ADAPTER, internal card reader) with GParted, I labelled the card as "Microsdk2", but on Desktop it appears as "Microsd2nA" and
Code:
mount -l
displays
Code:
/dev/mmcblk0p1 on /media/MICROSDK2nA type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,uid=1000,gid=1000,shortname=mixed,dmask=0077,utf8=1,showexec,flush,uhelper=udisks) [MICROSDK2nA]
Why ...nA; what does it mean?
alfredo

Edit:
Mint 13 MATE, GParted 0.11.0

I think disk labels might be restricted to 8 characters....

Hi!
After having renamed the card with GP:
Code:
mount -l
Code:
/dev/mmcblk0p1 on /media/MICROSD2 nA type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,uid=1000,gid=1000,shortname=mixed,dmask=0077,utf8=1,showexec,flush,uhelper=udisks) [MICROSD2 nA]
That's a real problem (if the label is not changed again), because in a Terminal, it is not possible to use the name
MICROSD2 nA
with a gap between 2 and n!
