Keyboard response slow

Yesterday my keyboard developed this problem. Really I have to hold the keys down for nearly a second for them to process up to the screen. It seems to be a configuration problem as when I enter the BIOS password or hit enter to get past GRUB there is no delay or waiting for the characters to process. I've tried changing the settings for the keyboard under Control Center with no effect, I've even changed keyboards with no result. The distro is OpenSuSE 10.0, so if anyone's had this problem please help. Typing like I'm 6 isn't fun.

Thank you for any help.

Found the solution under accessablity. So don't worry about responding, hell a mod can lock this if they want.
