Iomega Screenplay 360GB drive read only

I just bought a new multimedia hard disk and when I mount it I cannot write to it, only read. I am using Slackware 12.0. I tried changing premissions and owner and it seems impossible to write to the drive.
Can anybody help?

1. What format is the drive? ext3, ntfs, fat32?
2. What's the output of these three commands:
Code:
cat /etc/fstab
mount
fdisk -l # do this one as root

Just made it work and you were in the right path. The drive was ntfs and I formatted it as FAT32. It works great now and iomega says that it is suppose to work on the TV as well although I haven't tried yet. The only minor problem is that it limits the file size to 4GB...
Thanks for the help!
