HP DV 6000 running Jaunty; trying to set webcam (Micordia 0c45:62c0) focus

I don't know if this is even possible, but its worth a try.

I am working on a personal project that involves using the webcam on my Pavillion DV6000 along with GOCR as a barcode scanner. Obviously, the cleaner the picture is the easier time GOCR will have decoding.

Is there a way to manipulate the webcam (Micordia 0c45:62c0) (built in to the machine) to adjust the focus for optimal picture clarity? I use Cheese to work the camera, but I am not married to it (very simple and it just works, but if there is another application that gets me what I need then bring it on).

Thanks in advance
