HP digital camera install

I read couple of old post and tried them, can seem to mount my camera (HP photosmart 720).

I can see the camera attach to my USB by cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

however when cat /proc/scsi/scsi , it only shows my lite on cdrw

I am running slack 9.0 with the default kernel.

Anything I missed(or should try)?

thanks

try configuring it within a program like gtkam or something else that is used for digital cams. see if it is on the list of cameras and if it autodetects.
