how to setting up Guomai CDMA PCMCIA Modem on Fedora Core 6


hi all,
another problm, please help me how to setting up cdma pcmcia modem, i'll this cdma pcmcia modem to connect to internet if i'm not in office. FYI my cdma pcmcia modem brand is Guomai (chinese i think), please help me to setting up because it cant detect on my fedora core 6

The brand never helps.
With the modem plugged in, open a terminal and enter "lspci" ... look for the part that talks about your modem and paste it here.

Go to the linmodem project and get the scanModem script. Run it and look in the Modem folder it produces. The file we want is called "ModemData" - copy it here.
