How to instaoll webcam Creative Labs Part P00040


Hi all
I'm on stupid windows only becouse of webcam and MSN
well I found AMSN and my problem is isntalling on openSUSE 10.2 Webcam Creative Labs Part P00040 or So called Webcam 128
How can I intsalled i have googled it and no go.

I don't know this particular cam, but the spca5xx driver is a good bet for Creative cams. If you do a lsusb, it will tell you the exact numbers that your cam reports, and you will be able to check them against the models supported by the driver.

Just google for spca5xx to see how to get it for your distro. If that driver is not it, google for the numbers that lsusb gave you. (Or post them here, that's what others here will need to help you further).
