How do I make persistent USB install from liveCD of openSUSE 11.2?
openSUSE.org/forum has a post that gives a cookbook approach to this install. The problem is that you have to download the .iso image to put on the USB stick later with the "dd" command. Dial-up is my only internet option, so that is impractical. How can I do this using the openSUSE 11.2 live CD. I made an .iso imageusing K3B put and it put an image on my "/home/aps/videos" directory as I requested. The DD command does not recognize the file I have tried using the full path to the .iso. Same result....
I have heard there is a way to install to a usb from the Live CD desktop. But is this a persistent install on the USB? If so how you do it?
Any help would be deeply appreciated...
