Cojo,
Do you have any idea of what can be the reason why on FC3 or 4 it does not work and on Fedora 5 it has been fixed? If you find or know the difference, we may reuse the patch, driver, pack or whatever on other linux distribs to get it work without needing to format our disks for Fedora only because of WD

Jeremie,

sorry for the late reply. The new kernel on FC5 fixed this problem. So, you can either compile a new kernel for FC3 or FC4. You can also upgrade it to FC5. My suggestion is backup all your data and config files and install FC5 rather than upgrade to FC5. I did an upgrade and it took me twice as long than fresh install.
