Hello, I bought an IR blaster from irblaster.info.

I just can't get it working. I have ubuntu feisty. I also have the pvr-500mce tv tuner card which came with a usb receiver and blaster, and for that blaster, only port 2 works...but at least i got something working. So i know that it is possible.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I was hoping for some sort of how to to follow.

But just could not get it going. Everything compiled correctly and i got no errors whatsoever, but nothing comes out of the ir blaster.

The mythtv how to does not seem to informative. I'm somewhat of a noob at this stuff, so i need more of a step by step how to.

Like, how do i have it load the lirc_serial module? And how do i tell if it loaded correctly?

Also, is there some sort of gui program i can download and install that can help set this up?
