hda-intel - warning message

Whenever I use sound for the first time after reboot, this gets logged to dmesg

Quote:
hda-intel: Invalid position buffer, using LPIB read method instead.
Not that it effects anything, but after several months of seeing it, and even in the new 2.6.28 kernel, I decided to ask about it.

I have no idea what it means. Is there a way to fix this "buffer" problem?
