WARNING: Kernel Errors Present hda status error


Hello:

This morning, I was checking through the log and found some kernel errors. What does it mean? Is it something that needs to be fixed?

Hello, these messages can be caused by a interrupt in the disk writing process caused by any number of things. To receive them sparcely is nothing to worry about, however to ensure you do not have a real drive issue you can run a smart check through shell. I would recommend checking this page out http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net...martctl.8.html as this is the smart check man page and it is pretty straight forward in the syntax to run a drive check through smart
