Hard Drive Problem

I am not sure if I completely trashed my hard drive. I used partition magic to resize so I could put Linux on. It looks like the MBR takes up the entire drive, and I am getting read only errors. Is there a way to fix this using Knoppix. If you need me to type in any commands and give you the read out, I will. Its a 160GB SATA drive.

Try booting with Knoppix, and see if it recognizes any hard drive partitions (they'll appear on the desktop). If there are any, see if you can access them and what's on them.

I got it working again. I had to fix it with DOS. Thanks for the help.
