If I watch the LCD display on the printer, it says "Receiving Data" for a second or two, but does not print.
I don't think I need to explicitly install the CUPS Wrapper and printer driver, as it appears that is already installed per my distro.
Any ideas?

Well what I can is tell you is what I have to do to get the printer working under Fedora 10 .
Fedora know I have a Epson D98 but refuse to print , until I select
in the printer setup Epson model D 68 and than it it prints , because he do not have the driver for model D98.
Before I did this selection my printer react when a send a document to the print but did not print
