Dual Monitor, Colour sometimes change on one?

Hi

I have a fedora 13(or 14) install on my desktop with dual screens. I have a dual head dvi/vga card in my pc. The setup runs fine, but every 3 mins or so, the colour on my VGA monitor goes weird for around 10 seconds, then returns to normal.

By weird, I mean it is as if the colour presets are being changed. So the display with have a blue hue, sometimes a pink/red hue.

Both my displays are identical. They both have VGA/DVI input, if I swap monitors the issue does not move with the monitor, so it is a vga related issue. I have tried different gfx cards, different cables and even a 3rd monitor, all seem to have the same issue with the VGA channel on my pc. I have tried with a windows pc and dont have this issue.

Any pointers??? Been using the setup for months now and its about to go out of the window!

thanks

Joe

A dodgy connection on the vga lead will do that, or a dodgy cable.

Double check that. Then post details of your vga card & drivers.

Like I said, I have tried multiple monitors, cards and cables. Also works fine on a windows PC. Think I have safely ruled out hardware.

Will check card details when I get home

What gfx card do you have?
What drivers do you have installed?
How did you install them?
Do you have a config file for the card?

Thanks
