Hello

I want to get the dual head function of my radeon 9500 working.
My system:
ati radeon 9500
LCD Monitor BenQ
CRT Samsung SyncMaster 17GLsi
Mandrake 9.1
XFree86 4.3.0


I installed the ati radeon 9500 driver and execute fglrxconfig to make the XF86Config-4. If I start the server the LCD (first device) is displaying the left area but the second display stays black. (but the light of the samsung monitor changes from standby to swichting between orange and green (don't know what this means))

I alread tested different ModeLines but with no success. I also switched the cabels of the monitors but know only the Samsung monitor is displaying the left area.

I've just read a artikel about dual head in XF86Config and followed the instruction but it seems that it don't work with radeon driver. Maybe thats why ati made there own config programm.

Maybe this post help to find the solution ...
