Dual Head on GeForce MX4000 with two LCD Monitors ?

I am trying to set up for two monitors using stuff I already have lying around. I have a GeForce MX4000 that has VGA and S-Video connectors. I also have three unused 17" LCD monitors that are identical to the one I am using on my system. The monitors only have VGA input connectors, so I can't hook up a second one directly.

Is there a way to get this to work without a big investment? Can the S-video signal be converted to vga without using a box that is more expensive than a second card? I could buy a second card but I hate to do that since I also have some spare cards, but they are AGP and the AGP slot is already occupied.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

You can buy an S-video to vga adapter cable....but here's the catch...
The max resolution for S-video is 800x600 (basically a tv display)

If you want the S-video out connected to your 17" monitor with decent resolution I would get a dedicated S-video to VGA Converter. Like this one:

Hope that helps some

Thanks for the reply, doublejoon.

I may try that solution, but in the interest of keeping things more integrated, I may get a PCI video card instead. That way I may be able to use the s-video connection for dedicated tv.

Does anyone know which PCI cards would co-exist peacefully with the current AGP GeForce 4000, and if there are any that might have hidden traps? This is for my Gentoo box using xorg.

Thanks
