Dual Head on a GeForce FX5500 PCI
i was trying to setup the dual head feature in FC2 on my PNY Verto GeForce FX5500, which has dual VGA ports. I installed the nVidia drivers already, during which, the install said the module rivafb conflicts with the drivers.
Every time i try to change the video card settings, it resets itself.
Any ideas on gettin this to work.

So every time you edit the XF86Config file, it randomly reverts itself back to its original form?

Hmm, ok.
So if you are in runlevel 3, and edit the xorg.conf file so the driver is nvidia, then save and exit and do a "startx" it will change itself to vesafb? Or does it change on reboot...
