I am thinking of buying a drawing board, but it has to be compatible with linux (and cheap/good/and so on. Any ideas? :-))

Smile Turcom Graphic Drawing Tablet 8 X 6 Inches

I bought this board on Amazon for only $35.99 and I love it. That being said. I am an absolute amateur and don't have any idea what the symbols on the board itself mean or how to use them. I use my gimp image editor. I did not have to download any drivers or anything. I opened my gimp, plugged in my turcom board and put batteries in the drawing pen. It works. There is a clicker on the side of the pen that you can use like a mouse button to navigate the gimp menu, though I used gimp for so long without a drawing board that I often just grab my mouse out of motor memory for the menus, changing color and size, etc. But I can blow up my image to 1600% and just hold down on the pen clicker and drag the picture where I want it, let go and keep drawing. I also love that I can rest my hand on the turcom board all I want and it only makes a mark where the pen is touching the board.

Here's a link if you are interested.
