OK, I have a Dlink DWL-122 USB Wireless adapter on a Win200/Mandrake10.0 dual boot setup.
I want to get it setup so that I can get online in Linux.
I did some searches on this subject, and found some instructions that I can't seem to follow.

I use the command "lsusb", and the D-Link device shows up fine.
First, I bought Mandrake Discovery 10, and it doesn't seem to have the kernel-source file anywhere. I DLed, kernel-source-2.6.3-7mkd.i585.rpm from RPMfind.net, and it failed to install. (I think it's because the Mandrake Desktop Config program says i'm on i686, but I can't find i686 kernel sources for my system.)
Then I skip ahead to “mkdir /usr/src/linux/.tmp_versions” , and Mandrake then says "Access to /usr/src/linux/.tmp_versions is denied". I'm logged in as root.
Can any one please help me get the internet running on Linux?
Thank you in advance.
